Rio Theater – a true Vacation Fantasyland

Part of the reason Monte Rio is considered a “Vacation Wonderland” is it’s durable and affordable Rio Theater. Its long and impressive history has included live performances by show stoppers like Richie Havens and benefits  such as the Pirate Radio Celebration for worthy all-volunteer non-profits, such as KGGV 95.1 FM and KOWS 107.3FM.
But the old quonset hut’s bread and butter is still it’s lineup of first run films. To wit:

The Adventures of Tintin about whom his creator, Herge, says “Tintin is myself.
