Corello retires from U.S. postal service
Claudia Corello of Guerneville has retired as branch manager and postmaster at the Monte Rio branch of the U.S. Post Office, on July 26 after 16 years at that post.
She has two daughters, Melissa Corello Hall of Guerneville and Lauren Hall of San Diego, and a grandson, Taylor Hall.
Her daughter Lauren sent a message to Corello on her retirement saying, “Congratulations Mom! It’s how you spend your time doing what you want! I love you Sooo much!
Live life lady.”
Claudia Corello, who is originally from the East Coast is currently on vacation and has not revealed her future plans other than to do some traveling.
A replacement postmaster has yet to be announced, and currently filling in for Corello is Oklahoma native, Sheila Platt who has been working at the Monte Rio post office for seven years.








Claudia was a real class act at our MR Post Office! Many thanks for all of your community involvement!
Claudia was always there for us, you could always depend on her. Glenda was also excellent back in the day. Miss you guys out there in sunny Cali-lands.
