Supervisor Efren Carrillo, reelected by a very vocal majority to another term as the Fifth District’s supervisor, Is inviting everyone to a joyous fiesta celebration at Guerneville’s Vets Hall on Friday.

In his fourth year serving the diverse, unique and geographically large Fifth District, and Carrillo has been an outspoken advocate for his constituents and an attentive  listener. The Fifth district is proud of its diversity, the generous,  accepting and unusually generous nature of its population,  and Carrillo has been sensitive to the district’s needs and requirements. The district;s inhabitants take great pride in its natural beauty which includes,

mountains, a coastline and the Russian River, and has, per capiita, more people involved in the arts (including music) than most other regions. Heeding this, Carrillo has been  active in water and climate protection, sensitive to the diverse economic needs of the district’s citizens as well as outgoing, personally involved and accessible. He has both lobbied for Sonoma County at our Nation’s capital and worked locally on the Water Advisory Committee.

This, the fourth annual fiesta,  will feature an evening of Mexican food, wine, beer, margaritas and live music.

The celebration begins at 5 p.m. and will run until 8 p.m. RSVPs are requested and will be handled by Donna Zapata at 707-293-6777 or www.efrencarrillo.com.

May I please add…what a dork. Anybody that gets into a bar brawl at two in the morning…there’s more here than meets the eye.

G’ville has been a lot less colorful since you left PJ! Looks like etc, etc found some nice new digs in the desert..

It’s ironic that many men think Efren should not have gotten himself “into a brawl at two in the morning”, yet all the women I have spoken with think Efren did a very good thing – – he stood up for his friends who were being harassed…I wonder how many of the naysayers would have done the same.

    To clarify:
Fights fought at other hours of the day aren’t more acceptable than those fought at 2 a.m.,
nor did it take place in a bar
