Super Bowl Galas abound around town

Saturday, January 26th, 2013 | Posted by

Super Bowl XLVII is fast approaching and even if you live in a subterranean cave in a hidden valley in the New Guinean highlands, you know Sunday, February 3 is The Day.

Colin Kaepernick focused on winning

Several local venues are having Super Bowl galas and a few are listed below:

The Rio Nido Roadhouse on Canyon 2 Road in Rio Nido,  with it’s heated pavilion, friendly service and reasonably priced yet thoughtfully prepared menu items and its bar will be featuring:
Self serve Nacho Bar with all the fixins
$1.00 off all Pint Beer
FREE appetizers during game time

Hosts Brad and Sandy Metzger  also have a spacious and sweeping grassy area where kids are free to run around along with any frustrated fans who may need to vent by rolling around and screaming. Raena Jones and the staff are patient, friendly and upbeat and may serve as therapists if any are needed.

I really love this webpage, just what Guerneville needs. You would think Stephen owned all the businesses he so graciously promotes. Things are just great when the right person is at the helm, and Stephen you are one heck of a Captain. Again, with you at the helm I don’t think us deckhands ever have to worry about this ship going down!
Thank you for your hard and dedicated work for us and the entire community.

Stephen I love the Press Democrat diseminating information about local businesses–it’s been a long time since the PD was really a local newspaper. Your input for the Russian River area is deeply appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for your kind and encouraging words. I consider myself uber lucky to be living here – blessed really- and I feel businesses that are ethically run and improve the quality of life of their neighbors and the community deserve acknowledgment and appreciation. So its not so much promoting as it is recognition and kudos for how thoughtfully they run their businesses.
