Valentines Day – You love it or you loathe it! Either way you can commemorate the day with foodie specials in many venues in or near Guerneville.

5 p.m. to 8 p.m., George’s Hideaway aka 3 P’s Comfort Food Station presents a Valentine’s dinner party featuring an abridged version of the Thugz – Mike on Guitar and Sylvia on keyboards – who will deliver romantic serenades for you to chew by:
The $30 per person Prix Fixe menu offers:
Hors D’oeuvre wild mushroom and Brie Crostini
First Course: Tossed local greens with house made herb viaigrette
Entre: Grilled Salmon with Fresh Mango salsa, Jasmine rice and fresh local vegetables or Braised Chicken Thighs with Kalamata olives, white wine jasmine rice and fresh local vegetables.
Dessert: Strawberries and Cream ala He with a tuxedo strawberry.
Includes a split of Korbel Champagne per couple.

First course: choice of butternut squash soup or mixed green salad

Third course: Filet Mignon with Brie cheese, shallot sauce, potatoes au gratin, green beans, carrots and squash or
Rib-eye steak with Portobello mushrooms and merlot or
Poached Salmon, braised vegetables or
Australian Lobster Tail
Dessert: Raspberry Cake and orange chocolate ganache
Glass of Champagne included or a bottle of Champagne for a table of four

(Valentines Day) but will continue to make it available for the three days after Valentines Day, aka President’s Day Weekend  (Friday, Feb. 15 through Sunday, Feb. 17).

Along with a special menu Main Street will present on Feb 14,  Susan Sutton and her Jazz Trio providing a few delightful sets and an air of romance and serenity which may serve to  help you slow down your chewing and thus improve your digestion. On Feb. 15, Grammy Jazz nominee, Vernelle Anders, on Feb. 16, also a Grammy Jazz nominee, Frankye Kelly, on Feb. 17, Eddie Neon.

Appetizer: Pork Belly & Watermelon, cherry tomato coulée

Soup or Salad: Crab Bisque or Organic Spring Mix with strawberries, onions & goat cheese

Entree:  Cornish Game Hen, Apricot chipotle glaze stuffed with red chard, calabrese sausage and apple or
